Reinstall PPro CS6

have just reinstalled PPro CS 5.5, and need to apply the upgrade to CS6, but it's been so long since I did the upgrade, I don't remember if it was a download, or exactly how I got it.   Or how to proceed

Has been a long time since using Support Community, so will try to supply info.   Thre reinstall was due to finally "uprgading" to Win 10.   I was always aware of "issues", perhaps being solved by now.   I am on a Dell XPS 8300 with an I-7 processor, 8G ram, and 4 TB external storage.   The CS 5.5 install was done flawlessly from disk to my C: drive.

Thanks for assisstance!

For CS6 and earlier you may download ONLY if you bought direct from Adobe via download
-Log-in to your account and click this link https://account.adobe.com/products
--click Order history on the left and then the link to your order that will show on the right
--and finally click the link "Downloads and serial numbers" that will appear
--as always, write the serial number in a text file AND copy that text file and the
---download file(s) to an external drive (or two) to be sure you have what you need
-if you did not buy direct from Adobe via download you must find your original install
--if you have an Education or volume license you MUST use your original media
--the link for an Education or volume license download is not available at all
-if you bought a disc and don't have a drive you will need to buy an external USB drive
-if you bought a download from a 3rd party vendor you will need to contact that vendor

Thanks for prompt reply - When I originally got the CS6 download, I was using an old email address that I no longer have (didn't know that!) . Now a tech tells me he DID find the download on my order history, [-on the OLD email] and was going to connect me to install tech, and then I received a msg re: try again later ---- I did so, and then got a msg saying try again in 12 HOURS...Ok....guess I'll try again. Later...

thanks for your assistance.
