Question

Relink across multiple folders

As team projects didnt work out well for me, I need to export a project multiple times in the editing process to be able to view it on another mac (with an older premiere version unfortunately).

I managed to "downconvert" and open it, but I have to relink all files from different folders every time now.

Is there a way to relink all files across folders? Or do I have to copy all my files from all those folders into one folder so I can batch-relink everything?

BTW: I have unique filenames for every file, so the folder structure should be unnecessary.

Plus: I have to relink EVERY time I start up the project. How can Premiere remember, where my files are stored?

I reattached the proxies manually, not only on startup, but through the menu. Now I am not asked on every startup to relink proxies. But still the question remains: How can I batch-relink across multiple folders? Is it better to keep all files in one folder?
