Relink Adjustment Layer? Relink JPEG that is still in the project?

I just started noticing this today. I saw it in a previous project about 3 days ago for the first time. 

Adjustment layers and static images that are still in the project bin are not linked to the sequence in the same project. 

How do you relink an Adjustment layer?

Adjustment layers and still images do not have a framerate. So they must be something else.
