Relinking media adjusts clip in/out points

Working in Premiere 26.5

Working on a project i cut earlier in the month, needed to adjust a few things, went back into my project, reconnected proxies, and suddenly my clips all started at the very beginning of the clip.  This is an interview, so it's just a series of the first 10 or so seconds repeated.

I restarted my computer, offlined and relinked media, but nothing is working.   Does anybody have experience with this?
