Remix tool crashes Premiere every time

Hi,

In the middle of my project the remix tool stopped working, firstly it bugged out by stretching a track for a long duration of time, and now anytime I try to use the tool at all Premiere immediately crashes.

I have:

- Reset preferences

- Uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere

- Tried opening a new project with different audio files

Apple Macbook Pro M2 16GB

MacOS Sonoma 14.0

Premiere version 24.2.1 (Build 2)

Not fixed. Happened right now in 25.1.0. I lost my project of around 3 hours of work thanks to this

Resolved by checking 'enable remix' under clip. It allowed me to use the tool via essential sound panel and also on the timeline.

Use the ESP instead of stretching on the timeline.
