Question

Remove a group inside title graphics template

I want to remove one or more groups from under the Media Group Controls of a title graphics template I found on Adobe Stock (Fast Sports Stomp Promo).  I can find no control to delete a group.  I just need a couple of text graphic elements for what I want to do.  Any help would be appreciated.

Why is this like this? Mogrts made in AfterEffects cannot be changed within Pr, that’s a design feature so that major shops can have mogrts created that the editing folks can’t change outside of branding considertations. It is a good feature ... mostly.

But it does mean that for mogrts created in Ae, we still need to go to Ae to change any structural parts.

    Cannot do that in Premiere.

You will have to use After Effect the edit the mogrt.

So I have to buy (rent) another Adobe App, just to edit the template?  I think for what I want to do, I could just create a sequence with all the text, graphics and other media for the title.  Then I could add that sequence to another sequence to use as the title?  No?

If you’ve got the ‘video’ subscription, I think Ae is also available. With a Pr - only subscription of course, it wouldn’t be. And as noted, there is a major reason that it works like this, and a BIG bunch of users would be upset if it was changed.

Though for many others it would make life easier.

You can create mogrts right within Premiere, and save them to the computer or your CC Library. And are encouraged to do so. THOSE mogrts created in Premiere can be altered in Premiere.

There’s just not the really cool advanced things you can do to add sliders and options to them that are available in Ae.
