Rendering bar changes to yellow when playhead is moved

Anytime I move my playhead by clicking to a different point on the timeline's timecode bar, it immediately changes the rendering bar of the clip it selects to yellow. This will happen if I click a point on the timeline, click and drag the playhead, as well as if I am playing the video and pause it. The clip that it is paused on and selects will automatically have a yellow rendering bar, even though I did not make any changes to it. My co-workers and I have all been experiencing this issue since we updated to 2024.
