Rendering error in Premiere pro

Hello Community,

I've been facing an issue for a while now, and I've tried everything but can't seem to solve it.

Here at the company, there are two computers experiencing the same problem.

When I want to render a timeline to get a better preview of the video, I select the portion I want to render, then go to Sequence > Render in to out. Premiere starts rendering, but it doesn't finish. It only renders a small portion and then closes, as if it has completed the entire render.

I've reached out to Adobe support, but I haven't been able to resolve this issue yet.

I've tried updating, rolling back to older versions, clearing the cache, reset the preferences and various other troubleshooting steps that didn't work. I initially thought it might be just a problem on my end, but another user is experiencing the same issue.

The information about computer is as follows:

  • RAM: 32GB
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-10400F CPU 2.90GHz
  • Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

Version Premiere Pro v 24.1

I've attached a video demonstrating the problem.

Has anyone encountered this before?

Thank you!

What are the hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

Hi there!

Sorry about the issue. Can you try copying your project and importing it into a new one? Could you also check if there's an update available for a GPU driver?

What happens when you switch the video renderer to "Software Only"?

Let us know.

Thanks,

KR
