We've all been there. Things can be very very frustrating when you think it should be straightforward.

As Neil suggests - just take some time and post a full explanation :  what you are trying to do and what effect you are using - eg: is it a plug in , or just a Premiere effect, Transition etc ?? . 

Follow guidelines here on positing a problem - the more explanation the quicker you will have a solution.

As there's no way to help you, from your post, I can only say using something you don't understand is very frustrating.

However, if you asked about the problem you had, 'we' could probably quickly explain what the issue was. This, like all other pro-level video post apps, is not like the prosumer video apps. It does take some knowledge and understanding, and practice, to use ... precisely because most pro users want absolute manual control over about everything.

That is about 180* different in concept from the prosumer apps most have used prior to Premiere or the other pro level NLEs.

So ... with a bit of knowledge, one avoids that kind of thing, and things just work. Ask ... 'we' will be happy to help.
