Reorganize Premiere Pro files and folders for my archive

I need help organizing my Premiere Pro files and projects. As a professional multimedia artist/designer who moved to Premiere Pro in 2001 from Final Cut, I'd spent years learning Pagemaker, Freehand, Quark, InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop, and Adobe was an easy transition. It could have been me, but twenty years later, Premiere seemed to stop automatically placing my files and projects in a new folder for each update. I didn't notice for over a year, and then, I just stayed with my Premiere 14 folder which is now 1TB.

I got an M3 Mac with two 32TB drives for backup and to weed out and reorganize everything. Many of my Premiere projects have not been able to find files, and I've been opening and relinking these. Haven't seen any magic software to do this for me, so I need a realistic professional solution, and I'd be very grateful for suggestions.

    When I get closer to a set of simple  functional istructions I'll post again. I really think this something we all need.

    Hey @bob_robertappleton dotcom,

    If you moved files around, you do have to relink them. Hopefully, if other files were in the same directory, they should relink automatically with the others. Let us know if that is not the case. I have had to relink manually too, and that can happen on some occasions. Sorry about that.

    Hi Keith,

    It’s also been an issue for a long time with my (Apple) computers. I know there is a way with coding to find and move things. It’s becoming a requirement to fully understand and stay up with the MacOS file and folder structure.

    I’ll post anything I find
