Replacing Audio files and retain Cuts and changes in length

Hi creatives,

So i cut a documentary for a Band recording their album. I finished cutting the whole doc, but the mastered song files just came in and i have to replace them with the ''rough'' mixes i have been working with until now. I need to retain all cuts and changes in the audio tracks, while replacing them. For example, i duplicated verses and some beats to match the length of the interview. How can i to that without doing it all over again, frame by frame ?

If the master is the same as the one on the timeline: Replace footage in Project Panel.

If the rough mixes are the same length as the mastered songs, just unlink the rough mixes and relink to the mastered songs... You may need to adjust levels, but edits should stay the same.  If they're not the same length, drop eachrough mix into it's own timeline and then drop the mastered mix onto a different track, and adjust start and stop of the master to match the rough mix and then export just the master so the file will match the duration of the rough mix...  make sense?  If not, post back with any questions.
