Replacing my select clips with merged audio footage

I'll try my best to explain this clearly but apologies if my terminology is limited as I am still relatively new to editing in Premiere.

I have a project in which I've imported video footage and then merged it with the separately recorded audio leaving me with a folder of footage files and another folder of merged audio/footage files.

Unfortunately when I went through the footage and logged all the takes, quotes, etc. as labeled clips (a process of 3-4 hours) I was working with the plane footage files when I should have been working with the merged files. Dumb of me, I know.

My question is, Is there a way to replace the selected clips with the merged footage?
