Replacing with AE comp causes both programs to Adobe (freeze)

When will CEO's be ousted and people fired for making such a terrible product that never works? Today I spent about %67 of my time waiting for adobe products to reload after crashing.

Why in a larger project does it take 60 seconds for adobe to unfreze after clicking on a clip in the timeline?

Make sure you always terminate After Effects & Premiere via the task bar to speed up the closing process. That really helps.

Hey look everybody! I found a work around for the problem. Create an Adjustment layer, replace with comp, then copy and drag aformentioned clips into that comp, and just maybe you'll get lucky like me.
