As mentioned earlier, this is an issue that is being investigated. In 12.1 and 12.1.1, the workaround is to set the Project panel to List View, then Reveal in Project from the Timeline will select the file.

If you wish to use Reveal in Project while Project panel is in Icon View, you can roll back to 12.0.1 (issue was introduced in 12.1).

Try using "reset to saved layout" in Window/Workspaces (shortcut should be Atl+Shift+0). I'm still in Windows 10 using CC 2023.

    Hi All,

Sorry for the trouble. This issue is under investigation and hopefully it will get fixed in the next update.

The known workaround is to change the view to List view in Project panel as mentioned by emadeltawil.

    Thanks,

    Vidya.

For now make sure you are in the top folder.

Same issue for me. I've a feeling this has to do with autosave projects. If you open it, then your project panel is different to your open project, these issues happen.

Its definitely a bug of somekind.

    Hi emadeltawil,

Sorry for the issue. Is this happening with all projects? Just for a test, create a new project & check the issue.

Have you imported this project file into another project?

    Thanks,

    Vidya
