Reveal of curved lines in Premiere Pro

Help please!

I have a number of curved, twisting and straight lines that I want to reveal gradually (and separately) from each other in Premiere. I cannot remember how to do this (I did it a couple of years ago). I've looked at countless YouTube videos but can't find exactly what I need. I figure it's the pen tool and the mask, but I'm definitely doing something wrong and I'm getting tired of trying! 😉 Help much appreciated. Thanks
