Hello Adobe Community i have run into a problem that i never had before ...
I have a clip that i want to put in REVERSE SPEED, but when i do it everything looks great but when i RENDER IT IN AND OUT or EXPORT IT, it starts going crazy with choppy/glithcy/jumping frames back and forward..
Did look up with all the Field order and stuff, did not help..
And i just purchased a better editting laptop for work but i have run into an issue here..
Can somone explain and deal with this situation ?
Thanks

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot of the properties of your media in tree view:

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Handbrake to convert to constant frame rate before importing into Premiere Pro:

Here is a tutorial:

Shutter Encoder may also be used to convert to Constant Frame Rate:

Thank you. I didn't see this reply earlier becuase the email notification went to my spam folder. It did turn out to be VFR. What a crazy thing I wouldn't have thought of.

You might want to consider ProRes or Cineform proxies if that is the case. At some point the video files are going to overpower the hardware, using proxies helps significantly.

You might try exporting that footage to ProRes or Cineform and replacing it to the timeline. it should play fine. I do that all the time.

BTW: I'm prettys sure your processor has six cores (twelve threads). Cheers

So that means i have to export EVERY clip i have in ProRes because every clip i have is glitching...
Crazy, no one understands what is that...
But thanks will try out that method

Could you confirm if you're experiencing the same behavior with ProRes and Cineform?

This will help us to understand if this is a format-specific issue.

Thanks,

Kartika
