Ripple delete sequence markers

When I ripple delete or cut contents of a sequence, the markers in the area stays put.

If ripple sequence markers is checked, the markers following the sequence after the point of edit is mixed with the old markers of area not longer there.

Bug or feature?

I for one would be happy to loose sequence markers connected to a part of the sequence that's no longer there. Is there a toggle somewhere?

Sequence markers over a section you remove will not disappear automatically.  You're best option is to remove those manually before cutting the footage.

Then I would suggest as a feature request that the markers are deleted along with the sequence segment they belong. I can't imagine any workflow where the markers are needed after.

I wouldn't argue with such a user option.
