Question

Saving an export preset glitch

Hi there- Premiere Pro 22.4.0. With the new Export dialog, I'm trying to save some export presets and getting stuck. Everytime I click on the ... next to the "custom" drop down, and click "save preset," I give it a name, hit OK, and NOTHING happens. No no preset appears anywhere, including under custom in the "more presets" portion of the drop down menu.

Now here's where it gets weird. If I save the preset as "xxx", it works. I can't rename it, but it sticks. It doesn't appear work with any other alpha-numeric options that I have found. Am I crazy? Anyone else with this?

Hi pbrowntv,

Sorry for your issue.

I am able to save new export presets with alpha-numeric names without any problem. Please try resetting the preferences of Premiere Pro and see if that lets you save the presets.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu

Good try, unfortunately didn't fix it.

Experimenting, I have tried x, xx, xxx, xxxx and all have worked. Trying to call it something like DNX Matte doesn't work though.
