Scale To Fill Premiere Pro
My project was previously done in a differently NLE. The editor did a 9x16 sequence done in 16x9. There are a bunch of clips and projects that I now need to port over to Premiere Pro. As such, the clips are essentially 608x1080 within a 1920x1080 raster (don't ask). I have a ton of them. I want to output it at 1080x1920 properly.
Obviously, there is the option to Set To Frame Size, but that keep it 16x9, not 9x16. There is the Scale To Frame Size, which will rasterize it, but it will still be 16x9, not 9x16. Essentially, I want to make the 9x16 blown up 178% (that's roughly the upscale) but I have so many clips and projects that I really do not want to set a preset and have to apply manually to each one (I'm going to be getting a lot more of these) – I'm going to have multiple assistants and I don't want to have to worry about someone messing up and setting up a lot of presets. I don't want to have to re-render via Media Encoder (which has the Scale To Fill setting I need). I'd rather change it in the sequence and not on export. Auto Reframe Sequence doesn't do it properly (adds weird scan and pans). Is there no easy way to do this by just right-clicking and doing something like the equivalent of "Scale To Frame Size"?
When all the 9x16s are done, I'm going to have to do this with 1x1 and a ton of other sizes.
Thank you in advance!
