Scale to frame size

I have Premiere pro CC 2017 and I did find in the preferences the default scale to frame size which I thought would scale every clip put into the sequence but I still have to right click on each clip and choose scale to frme size. What the heck?

That setting only applies to newly imported media.  It won't affect media already imported.

You dont have to do them one at a time.

Select all, right click and Scale to frame size.
