I was triggerd by a YoutUbe video fron VideoRevealed about scene edit detection. I instantly wanted to try it on a video clip but I can't find it if I right click on the sequence. I see most of the options like in the YT video but scene edit detection is missing in the pop-up list. Can't find any mesaages on the web about this. Anyone an idea?

do it manually if you know how. I use cs6 which doesn't have that option, and resolve, which has the option, but is imperfect. If you have a cross dissolve it's no good. If a car at night suddenly turns on its headlights, its no good. Probably faster to scrub through and do your own manual cuts.

But if you want automatic stuff Adobe is the way to go !
