Hi guys, I need help, I'm new using Pr so obviously I have a lot of doubts, I'm editing an Engagement video and i want to add some particles but i dont know how to get rid of the black background of the particle footage, can anyone help me out?

    Your title says what to do. Set blending mode to screen.

    Red Giant's Unmult is really good at this.  It used to be a free plug-in.

    Is the plugin still available?

    I could not find it on their website.

    It's part of Red Giant Universe, which is now a subscription service.

    I was also unable to find the free version.

    Is it a black background, or is it transparent showing black?

    Put a solid color matte an a track below it and see if it shows through the particle clip.

    Does the particle clip support transparency?

    Where is the clip from?

    Is a particle footage that I have with a black backgound, I know how to do it in AE by just changing the mode to Scrren Mode but I dont know how to achive that in Pr, I make myself understand?
