Search Bar not working

It's working as expected for me. I would try:

Workspaces - "Reset to Saved Layout"

And if that doesn't work, Reset Preferences:

In my project bin, I search for key files but now nothing populates the search like it used to.

You better talk to Adobe, we're for the most part here, just other users like yourself. Use the chat on your Creative Cloud page or call support and ask for the 'video queue'
