Selecting clips in timeline activates effects control panel

Hi,

since version 24.6.3 I am having following issue.

When I select a clip in my timeline, it sometimes activates the effect controls panel for that clip. So the focus is away from the timeline and i cannot move or trim the clip in the timeline before I refocus on the timeline panel.

This is irritating. I didn' t have this issue with former versions.

Is there some setting to avoid this ? Or is this issue solved in the most recent Premiere version?
