Question

Selecting duplicate clips at once in Premiere Pro

Hi there,

I created a countdown that cycles through 3 images over 15 minutes. There are several dozen duplicate clips of each image. I now want to change the 3 images for use in another event. Is there a simple way to select 1 image with all the duplicates of that image?

Currently, I hold shift down and left-click on the image and every duplicate of that image. Once all are selected I press alt and drag the new image onto the selected duplicates to mass replace. Hoping there is a simple shortcut to selecting all duplicates at once.

I don't think there's an easy way to do this aside from the method your describing. It might be possible with a 3rd party tool like Selector however I haven't tried it myself.
