Issue - I usually work with 'Selection Follows Playhead', 'Guides', and 'Rulers' un-checked. Randomly (at least I can't figure out the trigger yet), these become checked when I switch between workspaces.
Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 24.0
Operating system - macOS, 13.4.1
System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD:
- iMac Pro 10-Core Intel Xeon W
- GPU: Radeon Pro Vega 64 (01.01.114), AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (External GPU), *recreated the issue with eGPU disabled as well

Selection follow playhead is triggered by Lumetri

I think in the beta this behavior has been changed.

Rulers and guides might be set in your workspace.

Historically, Selection follows playhead was triggered by Lumetri or clicking on the Color workspace, but then went back to the preferred user setting when one of the other workspaces was opened. I've double-checked the workspace settings and have them all checked off by default.

The rulers and guides can be turned on and off in the View Menu or with hotkeys. What is happening is that these settings are being checked on randomly. I uncheck only for them to become checked on again, but not by my doing.

I know how to turn them on and off. I use these features but only for specific things and leave them off most of the time.

The other strange/buggy thing is that this seems to happen randomly. I can't re-create on demand, but it's happened enough since I updated to 24 to know it is a thing.
