Sequence clips don't automatically align like they used to (NEWBIE)

I know this a very newb question but when I try moving clips around they don't move to the beginning like they used to. I must've accidently disabled something unknowingly because it used to work several days ago. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still doesn't work. Please Help!

    Ann is right. If you can't remember the keyboard shortcut next time you run into it, you can also click this icon to enable/disable snapping:
