Sequence Consolidation (trying Replace With Clip, From Bin, it loses timing)
First off, THANK YOU for Edit > Consolidate Duplicates. Much needed, much appreciated.
I also have replicated multi-camera-sequences, by accident, due to copy/pasting multi-cam-sequences from different projects into a current project. (Is a multi-cam-sequence that was created in Recovered Clips folder.)
By accident, some of my work now pulls from one Multi-Cam-Sequence and some from another. They're essentially the same, but I'm not sure if I can inform PPro to just use one instead of both across the project.
The only approach I can think to take is to so into my working sequence where I'm using a piece from the multi-cam-sequence, and highlight that piece (of which there are many) in timeline and also highlight the ideal multi-cam-sequence in the Project Bin. Then choose (by right-clicking on the piece in timeline) and choose "Replace with Clip > From Bin".
When I do this, however, the timing is lost... it starts at the beginning of the clip not the same moment as the previous multi-cam clip. (And also it assumes no longer multi-cam but I can re-choose multi-cam.)
Any advice how to approach this? I feel like I might be trying to go about it wrong.
