Sequence lost after saving

Hi there. I saved my project and reopened it - all my files are in the project, however the sequence is empty. When editing the sequence, the name was a name of one of my files used. So basically, one of my mp3 files was named "song.mp3", and my sequence was also named "song.mp3". I cannot figure out how to get back to that timeline because I cannot open an mp3 as a sequence. Please help me get back to where I was before this happened, any help would be appreciated.
