Sequence order randomly changing??

Hey,

When I switch my workspaces in premiere like for example: color, audio, effects Etc. the sequence order changes and or they are completely in a random order, some I need to even re-open! I work with a lot of sequences, and it's important for me to have them in order and not having to re-open each time I switch workspaces or restart Premiere.

Is there a way that they won't switch order and or won't disappear??

This happens to me everytime I open premiere. It jumbles up the sequence tabs in no discernable order - I always manually reorder all 8 of them to alphabethical order. It's so frustrating.

Yup, still the same for me... It's both when I open premiere but also if I change workspaces, super annoying.

I'm pretty sure RemoteIndex was calling on Kevin to try to get staffers more involved. I don't see any way to take their comment as shucking on the user.

As the comment, simply rephrased, notes that this is an example of a user not realizing the "true" nature of this forum (most don't, that's nothing new) and because of that, calling for a staffer response.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

Same problem here. Adobe doesn't seem to care or even bothering to answer. This cost's me like 15mins after every restart. And it's REALLY annoying!

It's been a year since I posted this and this still annoys me, sequences out of order, and seqeunces that I need to re-open when I switch working tabs.... I thought maybe I was doing something wrong but this is just part of premiere haha

Just experiencing the same problem and with around 100 sequences that I need in a particular order, having to keep reopening them is becoming a real pain in the arse

Right? I can't find anyone with this similar issue... 100 sequences in a certain order sounds like a nightmare when it comes to this haha... I have less but it's still annoying that they are randomly placed each time..

Try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.
