AVCHD 1080i25 (50i)

But technically, just drag your footage to a New Sequence that is empty and if footage does not match Sequence, Premiere will ask if you want to change to match. Or in Project Bin, right-click a clip and select New Sequence from Clip, or drag clip onto New Item icon.

When you let Premiere choose, don't be surprised if you get an ARRI preset for instance. Just picks the first in list alphabetically that will work with your footage. Main things to look for in Sequence Preset are:

  • 1920x1080
  • 25fps
  • 1.0 Pixel Aspect
  • Interlaced/Upper Field First

Thanks
