Serious Playback Issue with 24.4.1 update (Simple drone Footage)

Thank you for the update on Premiere.  I'm just writing because I've encountered a serious playback issue that has suddenly come about the moment I installed PP 24.4.1.  When playing back my Mavic 2 Pro '4k footage' on the timeline (no effects, no coloring, just the strait clip), Premiere Pro is suddenly incapable of playing the clip back.  It just shows a frozen image until I hit stop. Even when I playback at 1/2 and 3/4 its still a bit buggy.  Just now, I reverted back to 24.3 and the footage now plays flawlessly, the way it did before I did the update. I'm on a Mac Studio M2 ultra with 192 gigs of ram, so it's a bit wild to think that the latest version of PP wouldn't be able to play back simple 4k clips from a dji drone without freezing the clips everytime. Hoping that in the next update of the software, this can be addressed.  For now, I will skip this update.

Thank you for your time

Thanks for the quick reply!  So I re-updated the software again just now to 24.4.1, so that I could screen grab you some clips of playback at 'full' and '1/2', but for some reason, this time when I updated, the footage now plays fine in the updated version.  It's strange because when I played it in the initial update I did yesterday, no matter what I did, whether restarting the computer, or anything else, it wasn't working. And when I checked again this morning it was still having the issue.  But having reverted back to the old version, then reinstalling the update just now, it seems to have fixed the issue.  Not sure why it wasn't working for the first instiallation of the update yesterday, but all seems to be fine in the second installation of the update I did right now.

Thanks again!

Hey Dude,
Sorry to hear about your playback issue.  I would love to work with you and find out more.  Does the footage stutter in the Source monitor or only on the Program monitor? Also, what type of files are the clips?  Even better if you have a sample clip you are able to share.
