set poster frame does not work on subclips

i'm trying to find out if anyone was able to set poster frames on subclips in Premier Pro 14.01? it works fine on full clips, but not on subclips. simply doesn't stick, goes back to default frame in preview as a thumbnail. any luck?

At some point Adobe switched from UserVoice for bugs / feature request, to using this forum. You can now post BUG reports using the 'Bug' tag when creating a post. Or here's a link:
