Question

Setting a default workspace

How can I set my newly created workspace as a default so when I start new projects, Premiere Pro will open with my workspace?  Everytime I start a new project it keeps defaulting to the LEARNING workspace.

There is nothing in the workspace menu that says, Set As Default.

I always re-arrange my workspace and do save it as a new one by going to Window > Workspaces > Save as New Workspace. Next time i open Premiere Pro and start a new project i always see my own workspace. The only panel, for me, that has a life of it´s own since we got the Drover UI is the Project panel that always open in the wrong pane.

If you open existing projects and they open up with another workspace than you have now, make sure to tick Window > Workspaces > Import Workspace from Projects.

Sometimes Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout clear issues like yours.

Thank you so much.  Got it to default on new projects!
