Setting a Marker in a Adobe Dynamic Linked After Effects Composition Doesn't Show in AE

Hi guys,

So I'm relatively new to working on projects using both After Effects and Premiere Pro, but I've come across this point in my video where I need to sync something up from Premiere with a composition in After Effects, so after Dynamically Linking the composition in AE to Premiere Pro, I put a marker on the composition file in the sequence to where I wanted something to happen, went back to After Effects and the marker was not there. Am I doing something wrong? If so, how could I put a marker there so I know where I want to put my effect at? Thanks.

I see. So if I add a marker in the After Effects composition, it'll show up on the dynamic linked composition in Premiere, but if I put a marker on that composition, it won't show up in After Effects?

Unfortunately, AE markers aren't showing up either.  Not sure why.  Seems only the markers in existence at the time of the link will go.  Markers created after the link stay in their respective programs only.

That's odd. Do you know any other way to sync my composition with my project in Premiere?

I'm seeing the same behavior here.  Markers created at the time of the link go over fine, those created after do not.

Kind of makes sense, though.  Dynamic Link is one way - from AE to PP.  What you do in AE shows up in PP, but not the reverse.
