Media is all Prores Proxies linking to R3D from Samsung T7 SSD

Have been editing no problems until about two weeks ago. Suddently there is severe interface lag. Playback is rock solid. Zero effects excet for fades, audio levels, and transform. 

I have tried EVERYTHING. Clearing, resettings,  This issues has brought my work to a hault. Client is PISSED. 

please help
