SFX Library was relinked but still shows as offline.

I'm working on a show in Premiere at a company that's previously been exclusively Avid based.  In moving our SFX Library over (somebody else handled this process so I'm not sure what their workflow was), relinking in PP has taken a long time and now all the files appear offline, despite being linked. I've been reassured that they're just processing or whatever the PP term for that is, but I was also under the impression that the progress panel would display some....progress?? Nothing appears to be running. The SFX library is working on the others computers, just not mine. I'm at my wit's end, can someone please help clarify what's going on and how to fix? Thanks.
