Short Gopro medias freeze in Premiere CC after Quicktime trim and export
I have recorded a bunch of video files with my GoPro Hero6 Black and now I'de like to make a long video in Adobe Premiere CC.
I am on a Mackbook Pro 15-inch, 2017 - Processor 3,1 GHz Intel Core i7 - RAM 16 Go 2133 MHz LPDDR3 - SSD 1To.
To win time on logging (I'm not sure about the right word in English), during last week I started to trim all my GoPro videos files with Quicktime 10.4 (I thought it was a good idea to win time before opening Adobe Premiere CC, I wanted to get all my files ready to quickly be assembled with the right duration). After that step I have deleted all my original files (bad idea).
My original GoPro video files was setted to MP4, 1080p resolution for 59.9ips. After being trimed and exported from QuickTime, videos settings are still the same (H264 MPEG - 1080p - 59.9ips). Some of the trimed videos are very short (less than 2 seconds).
Well, so far so good.
When I import those videos files trimed and exported from Quicktime in Premiere CC, the very short media (less than 2 seconds) are totally frozen on one unique frame. Whether in the source pannel or in the preview pannel or in the timeline, the video are frozen on one unique frame. However I can hear the sound correctly.
First I though the videos wasn't being correctly exported. I tried to open them in QuickTime or VLC and there is no problem. They can be read without problem.
I though it could be a bug only visible in Premiere CC but it should be corrected after my sequence final export. Nope, after a final export, regardless of the chosen parameters, the final exported video file isn't able to read the part with the short part frozen...
I havent found anything about this on the web. Any ideas or advices would be super welcome.
Thanks.
