Though short reels extension says MP4, it is impossible to have short reel video as project file in APPr. Only it’s audio file gets upload. What is reason for that?

@MahaMN Its not the extension (container) that matters its the codec used inside the file.

Most likely its AV1 which is not supported by Premiere.

Most likely the codec such as AV1 inside the mp4 is not supported by Premiere e.g. dowlloads from Youtube, FB……..

1st you post what is inside the file that doesn’t work

2nd you may want to use https://handbrake.fr/ open source transcoder/converter to convert to a codec that may be edited

Report back with the codec details of your file, use the program below
