Question

Show Frames instead of TC in the Viewer

In Premiere Pro 2023 the displayed length of the Sequence in the viewer window can not be simply switched from TC to frames with the a right click. It shows the frames till you click somewhere else into the Timeline and then it jumps back to showing the TC instead. To permanently have frames displayed, you need to change the Display Format in the sequence settings.

Can we please have the function back to keep the change we make with the right click on the TC/frames in the viewer window instead? It's annoying if you have to switch back an forth to always have to go to sequence settings and do that.

Thanks!

Viewer window: which panel or monitor are you referring to? Source or Program?

If I right-click on the Playhead Position in the timeline I can choose between Timecode or Frames.

When choosing frames it also shows in the Program Monitor.

I can do the same in the Source Monitor: I dont have to open the sequence settings.
