Hllo i just discover the sidechain possibility while studying a course in audio for video

Now I am woring at a project where the background audio should go down when the main person that is telling the sotires, speaks

I have always done that gusing keyfrane..but i would like to use the possibility of sidechain now

It seems that it is not on premiere..right?

what workflow can i use for this case?

in general any of you process all the audio track in a daw for a better control?

I hope the Premiere team will add propper sidechain functioinality. For clear voices, I was hoping to use Sonimble Pure Unmast VST that needs to recieve a sidechain to work.
Here is a sidechain compressor that DOES WORK in premiere pro because it uses his own memory allocation for sending and recieving: https://beatrig.com/support/sidekick-ex6/ I have used it for years and it has done a great job.
I Use the longest attack and slow release.

this would save me a lot of time manually reverse ducking speech to become audible over terrible background noise HOWEVER the plugin isnt available to buy anymore, and theres no third party distributers or archives that wouldnt give you a virus

sorry to revive the dead discussion, idk anyone else whos still using this plugin the other threads are years old
