Question

Since when the Warp stabilizer is so sh**ty?

From the new 26.0 update, Warp Stabilization has become a nightmare.

Before, with just a few small adjustments, it was super effective—sometimes almost miraculous in how good it was. Now, even the slightest camera movement, with stabilization on, makes the footage jiggle more than ever.

Does anyone know how to deal with this problem?

My go-to settings were 10% smoothness, the method set to “Position, Scale, Rotation,” with “Detailed Analysis” checked and “Fast Analysis” unchecked.

Thank you.

I’ve seen a few people here and elsewhwere that have had issues with their normal settings not working. So there might have been changes that make those specific settings unusable for some media/workflows. Which would be a total pain as who wants to waste time fiddling with something that has always “just worked”, right?

But have you tried modifying your settings?

    Everyone's mileage always varies ...

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in. What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? What are the details of the footage (frame rate, frame size, format/codec) you're trying to stabilize? Is it happening with a specific footage or all of them? It'll help if you could share a screen recording of the issue.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks,
