Smooth Scrolling Move Timeline Shortcut

Smooth scrolling is almost a great way to edit, it has the feel of using film as the playhead is static and the timeline moves.

However it is slightly jittery.

Then, and I'm hoping there's a shortcut for this, it would help to move the timeline and not the playhead when adjusting by a frame or more. Not only does this make more sense when the smooth scrolling setting is active, it also removes the jarring problem of the playhead snapping back to center, which starts to hurt the eyes.

Secondly, and this is more of a suggestion, if the playhead does move while in this mode, it would be greatly improved if when playing again the playhead smoothly moved back to the center instead of snapping to it.
