Software Testing Premiere Pro

Hi,

I am a video editor based in Pune. I have been operating Premiere Pro for 4+ years now. I want to go further towards the technical aspect of the software. I want to know the Requirements in SOFTWARE TESTING of Adobe applications. Which language are used and need to learn for it?

While Premiere Pro's Quality Engineers are not required to have programming capabilities, many do. Several different computer languages are used; Python and JavaScript both figure prominently in our testing procedures. Most of Premiere Pro is written in C++, though JavaScript use is growing.


Premiere Pro's panel API is in ExtendScript, which is (basically) Adobe-flavored JavaScript; learning that will increase your understanding of the application.
