If I update the Premier software from 2020 to the newest, will I have a problem opening projects that were opened in the old version?

    You shouldn't. Newer viersions of Premiere open older projects without a probem.

    The recommended way to open an old project in a new version is to create a new project in the new version and then import the old project into it.
