Some Media after Relinked Comes In At A Different Resolution

Hi,

I am editing a feature film where there are many clips and many cuts. Over Thanksgiving, I took the project with me and edited on my laptop with HD proxies. The original media is 4K. That had it is own issues. Some clips in order to view them properly, I would have to zoom in 75% in the source monitor. It seemed Premiere chose which ones this happened to at random.

After Thanksgiving, I relinked the clips to my 4K media back to my studio(this caused Premiere to lock up constantly. I had to import the sequence from an older project that still worked on my machine which is sheer lunacy that I pay for a program that does this!). Premiere decided to cut off 10% of the top and bottom portion of SOME of the clips and I do not know how to fix it. I have a director flying in tomorrow and I will have to look like I don't know what I am doing even though I have done everything right UNLESS I am missing something? They are merged clips. I happen to know how to get into the project file and edit the code. If someone can tell me where Premiere tells itself the resolution and I can edit that it would be great info to know as well, but I am not picky. Any answer will do! Thanks!

Merged clips and proxies don't always play nice together.  You will probably be better off using transcodes.
