Some project files are gone

I had an issue where I couldn't use the text feature anymore in premiere pro after some time, saw online that resetting it (holding shift + alt or just alt) while restarting would fix it. I did that and it deleted all the recent file saves and auto-saves (older file saves are still there, just the recent projects are gone) I was working on a few projects and this has cost me hours of work (prob 4-5). Is there anyone that can help me find a way to get my files back

Did some more digging, turns out the project files after downloading premiere on my laptop have since been saving in a different location than normal and didn't show up at first. Just did a search through windows explorer of all possible places and I managed to find them again.

A little additional information: like 2 weeks ago I downloaded premiere pro on my laptop and noticed that premiere had reset on my pc afterwards (I think) as I didn't see any recent projects pop up on the starting screen. The files that are now gone are the ones that were created after this point, I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not but thought I'd share anyway.
