SONY XAVCS and AVCHD

Hi

I have shot videos with Sony a7s I in both these codecs (AVCHD & XAVC) and I would like to know whether I can mix both in the same Premiere Pro sequence or if I should rather edit choosing one or the other in which case I guess I would have to convert some of files ?

I am using the latest CC version of Premiere Pro on a MacOS Sierra 10.12.6.
