Question

Sound track's merged in Bins

Primiere V 23,
Laptop, Win 10
I'm editing a clip shot with an external recorder.
To synchronize the camera's soundtrack with two additional soundtracks, I arranged them in the timeline and synchronized.
After the synchronization phase, I want to start the rush phase when all sections within numbered Bins
because It's very inconvenient to work with dozens of clips at the beginning of the timeline.

The problem: when I move the synced clip and tracks into bins they switch into the "merged file"  format and I lose the ability to process the sound of each of the tracks later.
so- How do you overcome the "merged files" transformation when moving parts of the timeline into bins?

You put a camera with audio, and two separate audio files on a sequence, and used the Synchronize option. Is that correct?

If so, that's something that occurs on that sequence. It's not a 'bin' thing. It's not a new clip or anything. It's just several things conjoined on that sequence.

You say they become 'merged files' ... to make sure I 'see' what you are, explain your exact steps, and maybe add a screengrab or two drag/dropped onto your text reply area.

shooting with one camra and one external recorder
on Primiere timeline > mark highlighted clip + matched synced voice over part from trak below
>drag 3 of the items (video +linked original sound + voice over sound) to a Bin
> while transfering into Bin the 3 items become "merged file".
when I drage the "merged file" into timeline I can't unmerged them, that's the problem

Ahh ... but I still don't understand why you're doing this ... process or whatever. What's the point or reason?

I wonder if multicam would be the better workflow.
