Source Monitor Goes Black after first Frame

I can only see the first frame in a clip on my source monitor. When I play or scrub it goes black. If I place the clip in my edit sequence, it will play and scrub fine.

I cleared the cache files and reset preferences and that did not help. I can't change the renderer because it is greyed out

Any ideas?
